Shipping & Delivery

What it costs and how long it takes

Last reviewed 30 October 2026 · applies to all orders placed on this site

Every order is packed by hand in the studio that finished it, then dispatched from the warehouse closest to your address — Brooklyn, Columbus or Reno. Nothing is drop-shipped straight from a factory, and no box leaves without a bench check.

Shipping options as shown at checkout. Prices in USD, before tax and duties.

Free shipping is measured on the merchandise total after discounts and before tax, so applying a coupon can move an order back below the threshold. Delivery times are counted in business days from dispatch, not from the moment you order.

When your order leaves the studio

We do not print a shipping label the second an order arrives. Stems are shaped, checked against the daylight test and packed in the order they were received — first in, first out. That is why the dispatch window on each product page is 2–4 business days rather than “next day”.

Express orders placed before 1 pm ET on a business day are finished and handed to the carrier the same afternoon. Orders placed after the cut-off, at a weekend or on a US public holiday begin their dispatch clock on the next business day. If an item is made to order or temporarily out of stock, the product page states the longer window before you pay.

Tracking

A tracking number is emailed the moment a label is scanned, not when it is created. The same link appears under your account and in the dispatch email, so you can follow a parcel without contacting us. If tracking has not moved for five business days, write to care@fauxfloras.com and we will open a carrier trace the same day.

Split shipments. Oversized displays and small stems travel in different cartons and can arrive a day apart. You are only charged once, and each box has its own tracking link.

Where it ships from

Checkout assigns the warehouse with the shortest ground distance to your postcode. All three locations hold the same core range; oversized displays are crated in Brooklyn only, which is why they carry a slightly longer window on the West Coast.

  • Brooklyn, NY 11222 — studio, packing floor and oversized crating. The studio address is also where returns are received.
  • Columbus, OH 43228 — central fulfillment for standard and express parcels.
  • Reno, NV 89506 — West Coast depot for standard parcels.

We do not ship to PO boxes for oversized items, and we cannot redirect a parcel once it has been scanned by the carrier. If you have moved, contact us before dispatch and we will update the label.

International orders

We ship to Canada, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Where the destination supports it, duties and import taxes are calculated and collected at checkout so nothing is owed on the doorstep; where it does not, the carrier collects them before delivery. Refused parcels are returned to us and refunded minus the outbound freight.

Customs paperwork lists the commercial value of the goods. We cannot mark an order as a gift or under-declare a value — please do not ask, as it puts the parcel at risk of seizure.
